Anand was an educated, honest and hardworking man but unemployed.

Kadar a friend of Anand was a smuggler. He used Anand for his personal business gains. When Anand found out the truth, that the truck he drives for Kadar actually has smuggled Gold in it he revolted. Anand gets Kadar and with his smuggled Gold arrested by the Police. Kadar at this swears for vendetta.

Seeing the bravery, and genuineness of Anand a girl Sunita falls in love with him.

Sunita the daughter of Seth Sohanlal the multimillionaire industrialist. The love between Sunita and Anand scales new heights, Sunita finally express to her father her desire to marry Anand.

Seth Sohanlal can't believe his ears, he shuns the stupid and childish idea of his daughter - how could he accept an ordinary common man a truck driver as his son-in-law.

Sunita is asked to choose between the Grandeurs, wealth and honour of her family or the miseries of a common man Anand.

Sunita chooses Anand and his love. Sethjee could not stand this defeat and he suffers a heart attack.

Gupta the legal advisor and dear friend of Sethjee takes full advantage of this situation; he along with a friend an ex-convict Raj sends away Sethjee to America for medical treatment, on the other hand he plans the killing of Sunita because he knows that after all Sethjee's days are numbered, the news of death of Sunita will kill Sethjee also. With both of them dead and the legality of the industrial empire in his hands, he shall get the complete wealth.

Sunita has planned to elope Anand to Kufri where they marry and live happily ever after.

The plan of their eloping comes to the knowledge of Gupta, Gupta instructs Raj to kill Sunita on the highway.

Sunita's speeding car skids and dashes against the hillside. She escapes and reaches the haveli, all are present there, her full family and Anand but she doesn't recognize anyone of them - WHY?

Did Raj manage to kill Sunita, if, he did then who is this girl at the haveli?
Did the accident disbalanced Sunita, why doesn't she recognise anybody?

Was Gupta successful in his plan to inherit millions or was Anand able to help Sunita and prove to be the "MADADGAAR".
